Day 86 – El Questro – sunny 86

Great way to start the day
We returned to Zebedee Springs for our morning bath, we tried the top pools today and even though we arrived later the pools weren’t busy.

We found out how lucky we were to get a private site today, apparently there was a 2 page waiting list with people who were already camped in the public area. You cannot book ahead here, first in best dressed.

At the moment the Gibb has taken our aerial and our front number plate, so we had to order some more to be sent to Broome, also a couple of credit cards which I misplaced in Kununarra.
Cruising down Chamberlain River
Rock Art
This afternoon we hired a boat with a battery motor and went down the Chamberlain River, it was $95 for 5 hours which is pretty good since you can spend $54 an adult on the tour boat which goes for a couple of hours. Of course the first ½ hour the kids loved it and then… they wanted to drive the boat …and then hang over the side …and then eat.
Chamberlain Gorge
Mmmm yum
It wasn’t relaxing. The Aboriginal Rock was pretty cool and a lot different to what we had seen before.
