Day 106 – Goldwire RA to Cape Keraudren – sunny 32

Levi content with his bone
Just after this photo was taken fishermen came from everywhere and the beach was packed within minutes.
80 Mile Beach was beautiful and busy, there were fisherman everywhere up and down the beach, nothing much had been caught this year, 3 thread fin salmon and 1 mullaway the day before.
Smoko
We had morning tea and headed up the road, which this proved to be a great idea.
Beach combing
We loved Cape Kerauden, especially our spot which was protected from the wind, we also could see the sunset and sunrise over the ocean from our camp, it was posh.
In the words of Forrest Gump "I run like the wind blows"
Our front yard was massive rock pools, so we drove 2 minutes up the road to Cootenbrand Creek and Beach. Now this place has shells, tonnes of them, we stayed out there until sunset.
