Day 110 – Albert Tognolini RA to Karijini National Park – Dales Camp Ground – sunny 26 with freezing cold wind

The views from Albert Tognolini rest area

Karijini.Ummm.. not what we excepted. We have had so much better camp grounds on the roadside and for free. The camp is well set out with allocated large sites but the surroundings are unfortunate, let’s hope the walks make up for it.
A Steep climb
Great stepping stones for the kids
We ventured to the Circular Pool which was only 800 metres, it certainly wasn’t boring for the kids, climbing up and over boulders.

Circular Pool
Levi in training to be a fireman
Circular Pool
The pool was freezing and gorgeous, I was in heaven just collecting the mounds of Ochre, that is why the walk took up most of the afternoon.

Cutting up reeds for the Kinda Kids
We soon realized though after getting back to camp that we could have done all the walks in one hit today. There are 3 or 4 walks but most of them are 15mins to an hour long, how were we going to lose any weight at this pace.

?
The kids mmmm....
