Day 69 – Tina’s Place

Up early this morning, the kids start school at 8am, so we dropped off Kaylah at school and went into town for the day.

Glenn had his Birthday breakfast at Ducks’n’Nuts Cafe and then onto his most favourite past time of all "shopping". He didn’t cry once. Later lunch was down at the Wharf for some posh Darwin cuisine.

The Military Museum near Fannies Bay was pretty interesting, the kids found more amusement in the old spotlights than anything else.
After picking up Kaylah from school, I went and change my “Woman from Borneo” appearance with a wax job from Tina’s friend Chris. She worked wonders on my thermal coating, and here I thought it was just humid up here.
Glenn's Birthday today, we celebrated with a cake from Safeway.
He got a massive lens for his camera which should do him for the next few pressies.A battery pack for the camera and a lens extender. Ruth and Kevin were lovely they got Glenn a pocket bird book.

Oh and another special present from me!!

Check out this water scorpion!
