Day 56 – Litchfield to Edith Falls – sunny 33

A Termite Mound.

Pine Creek wasn’t a place we had planned to stay so we pushed onto Edith Falls so the kids could go for a swim. The camp site was beautiful, shaded and grassy and certainly worth driving the extra kilometers for the scenery, we recharged the batteries and ourselves.

The water was nice considering the size of the pool.

Edith Falls is massive compared to the others we have seen, we all swam this afternoon, but only close to the steps. As like Ayers Rock death and injury are not advertised, Tina and Nino have kept us up to date with the local attacks.
