Day 50 – Nitmaluk National Park – sunny then overcast with a shower 33

Levi and grizz with one of the locals.

On the Gorge trip to Lily Ponds.
We decided to do something different today, from 9am-1pm we did a boat trip down the Katherine Gorge with a swim at Lily Ponds. At each section of the Gorge you exit the boat to walk around and view the landscape and art, then get into a different boat in the next section. The aboriginal art was amazing because it was so high up on the cliff face.
Anna and the Kids after a dip.
The water hole was pretty impressive and was the feature of the trip, since the humidity today was sucking the life out of us. Levi has become a little fish, we put his vest on and he kicked his little heart out across to the water fall, I hardly had to hold him.

Paige one the other hand is unsure of the larger water holes, even though in the pool she is certainly an independent swimmer now.
