Day 171 - Coffin Bay - overcast 14

A drive out to Coffin Bay National Park was what we needed to get us motivated for the day, Avoid Bay and Yangie Bay were the two main places to see unless you went 4WD, Glenn wasn’t ready to forget his last venture on the sand just yet. Gunya Beach was just massive sand dunes that lead out to the sea the kids went crazy here.

Um and yes we got back to camp and Glenn went to the jetty, God knows what he does out there, well no sooner had he left he was back. A couple of guys were cleaning massive salmon on the jetty and said they were red hot and for Glenn to come down he wouldn’t be disappointed. So at 3pm he left with his fishing gear and headed to the National Park, I was sure he was just going to the pub with the boys, I wouldn’t had known
any different. At 5.45pm the car rolled back in, he emerges from the car with a massive grin which I thought was from the grog. Opens the back door and pulls out 3 massive Australian Salmon……

HE HAS REDEEMED HIMSELF.

No longer the worst fisherman he is off again tomorrow morning for a few more.
