Day 170 - Elliston to Coffin Bay - overcast 14

Locks Well Beach on the way to Coffin Bay is a well known fishing beach, it is more of a bay though and was freezing. At Coffin Bay Glenn wasn’t giving up too easily, and tried again on the jetty, there was King George Whiting biting but only one was to size.

For dinner tonight we freshened up and went down to the local Coffin Bay Hotel. We ate in the public bar and the kids went wild, because there were other kids to play with and balloons. The food was sooo posh, Glenn had an awesome steak, I had Scallop Sensation and Oysters Kilpatrick and the kids had squid, salad and chips which was the best kids meals we had seen in ages. We stayed until the Friday night raffle was drawn, we won a jar of smoked oysters, mmmmmmm.
