Day 128 – Quobba – sunny 24

Paige with her bag she made
This morning Paige finished her bag that she had started at the begining of our trip, she was very proud and so were we.
Red Bluff
Today we decided we better check out a bit of the local area and headed for Red Bluff 60km up from Quobba Point. We never thought it would be so stunning here, nestled at the foot of a mountain with a gorgeous beach front, no wonder this is a surfer’s haven. Also it has the best pit toilets we have used till now, walls made out of banana leaves and sawdust used instead of water and didn’t smell at all.
Levi and Mum frolicking in the Surf
Paige skinny dipping again
The surfers do their things at the point of the Bluff off the rocks, also at a place called Turtle.
On the way to 2 Mile Point we stumbled across a Thorny Devil.
Which one is the little devil
Another Horny Devil with Thorns
The 2 mile Point/ Beach was full of coral and clam shells, I could have stayed there for hours, but we need to move the solar panel and then go back to the Aquarium before high tide.
Fish Feeding
Hello
Coral spit
The kids loved throwing the bread into the water, the fish go into a massive frenzy at their feet.
