The early mornings have started, up at 5.30am to see the Uluru sunrise which was magnificent.
Then onto our 10.6km walk around the rock. It actually was longer because we joined a guided tour which did Mala Gorge as well,which was well worth the time.The tour guide knew his stuff and was passionate about what he was saying, which makes alot of difference to a presentation.
The first 7km were an easy stroll, but the last 3.6km we struggled with the afternoon sun. The rock got the better of us today. We started at 9.30 and finished at 1.30pm.
